We love dogs, golf, and supporting our customers! We’re thankful that we got to sponsor a hole at the 11^th Annual Rounds “Fore” Rescues Golf Classic. The golf tournament was held on August 8^th, 2022. It was a very successful event held on a sunny, blue-sky day! The event supports dogs at Detroit Dog Rescue (DDR). DDR was first founded in 2011 to help with the stray dog epidemic in the city and neighborhoods of Detroit. DDR is known for rescuing dogs that are considered to be unadoptable and rehabilitating them to help them find forever homes. They help around 80 to 120 dogs at any given time, and in 2014, DDR opened the first no kill shelter in Detroit. In 2015, for the first time, DDR transferred dogs from Detroit Animal Control. Detroit Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization licensed by the Michigan Department of Agriculture. We at Little Dog Social Media are happy to have helped support the dogs that need rescued and the wonderful people helping them.
