Helping Our Four-Legged Heroes: Little Dog Social Media’s Support for the Allegany County K9 Fund

At Little Dog Social Media, we believe in giving back to the community—especially when it comes to supporting our hardworking K9 officers. That’s why we recently organized a fundraiser for the Allegany County K9 Fund, an incredible nonprofit dedicated to providing financial assistance for retired police K9s in our area.

Staff from Little Dog placed donation jars in local businesses throughout the community, giving customers an easy way to contribute to this important cause. Thanks to the generosity of local patrons and business owners, we successfully raised $470!

We want to extend a huge thank you to the businesses that hosted our donation jars and helped make this fundraiser possible:

  • Uptown Hound and Laundromutt
  • LaVale Pharmacy
  • Liberty Liquors
  • Dig Deep Brewing Co.
  • Western Maryland Music Center
  • The Book Center
  • Queen City Creamery
  • Crabby Pig
  • Ladybug Boutique and Gift Shop
  • Shine & Glow Co.
  • The Goodfellowship Club
  • Hartley’s Pizza
  • Ellie’s Deli
  • El Jinete Mexican Restaurant
  • Buttercup Boutique
  • Mario’s Italian Eatery
  • Tattoos by Jonathan Hochard/Queen City Ink

Every dollar raised will go toward medical care, food, and other essential needs for retired K9s who have spent their lives serving and protecting our community. These dedicated dogs deserve to be cared for in their retirement, and we are honored to play a small part in making that happen.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared our cause, and supported this effort. If you’d like to learn more about the Allegany County K9 Fund or find other ways to contribute, visit alleganycountyk9fund.com. Together, we can continue making a difference for these loyal and courageous K9s!
